SEMICON Southeast Asia (SEA) 2025, the region’s flagship global electronics manufacturing and semiconductor supply chain event, officially opened on 20 May 2025 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Marking a historic anniversary, the three-day event returned to Singapore, where the inaugural event  had made its debut 30 years ago, under the theme ‘Stronger Together – Collaborating to Navigate Uncertainties and Fostering Resilience’.


The official opening ceremony was graced by Guest of Honour Dr. Tan See Leng, Second Minister for Trade, and Industry and Minister for Manpower. The event also celebrated Southeast Asia’s strategic ascent in the global chip race and spotlighted the region’s united drive toward innovation, sustainability, and workforce development.

CEO Summit: A Strategic Gathering of Global Semiconductor Leaders

The much-anticipated CEO Summit, held on 20 May, was the crown jewel of the SEMICON Southeast Asia 2025 show. It brought together some of the world’s most influential semiconductor leaders to address rising economic volatility, supply chain disruption, regulatory headwinds, and rapid technological change.

The Summit was also a strategic platform where C-suite executives and thought leaders engaged in cross-cutting discussions around innovation, investment, and sustainable growth. As Southeast Asia continues to rise as a key global semiconductor hub, the 2025 edition highlighted the region’s strategic importance on the global stage.
